Imagine never climbing a tower again!
With the Hazer Tram System, you can!
Eliminates Tower Climbing!
Allows Easy Access to Antennas
Carries Heavy Loads
Quality Construction
Easy Installation on Erected Tower
1.
Thrust Bearing Plate
Designed to mount either a thrust bearing (TB-25) or a mast clamp.
2. Rotator Mounting Plate
Universal mounting plate for most rotators. If a tailtwister rotator will be used, a different mounting plate will be required. Please order (HR-6010). A mast clamp (MC-10) may also be used here.
3. The Safety Latch System locks past each horizontal brace on the tower on its way up or down the tower. When in position at the top of the tower, the Hazer is lowered slightly to the nearest brace so the safety latch engages. The cable carries the load only when raising or lowering the Hazer. |
How does it work?
The Hazer works like a simple elevator designed to provide horizontal mobility of your antennas, measuring instruments, rotators, etc. The Hazer is designed to wrap around the tower. A pulley at the top of the tower, along with a winch and wire rope is used to raise and lower the antenna. It’s as simple as raising a flag up a flag pole.
Never climb your tower again! The Hazer makes servicing your antennas a cinch, even with one person!
Best of all, you may access your antennas at any time you want. Just
lower them to the ground, simply and easily. The Hazer guarantees
complete ease of mind and satisfaction.
May Guy Wires be used with the Hazer?
A fifty foot tower will require only one set of guy wires in most cases. We suggest putting these guys at the very top of the tower in the few inches just above the Hazer. To lower a beam antenna, disconnect two guys by completely unscrewing the turnbuckles at the ground. The guys then will drape in toward the tower. The Hazer can then be lowered to the ground. Once down, the guys can be reconnected. Imagine... having a completely guyed tower with your antenna system parked at ground level. Never worry about storms again!
Is it easy to install?
The Hazer is easily assembled on an erected tower;
however, some climbing is necessary to install the pulley block
assembly and winch cable. If it is installed before the tower is
erected, no climbing is required. Once installed, the Hazer travels
smoothly past tower braces and section joints.
